Managing Limescale Build Up in Hot and Boiling Water Applications

Liquid level sensors used in hot or boiling water applications all suffer from the build up of limescale, whether they use float, optical, conductive or capacitive technologies.

Cynergy3 designed particular models specifically for these applications, to give long term reliability in constant boiling or near-boiling water.  These models feature a hinged float that provides a switching level that is well below the pivot point of the float arm, so reducing and limescale on the pivot.

This is combined with a much higher buoyancy float to avoid the effect of any build up of limescale on the float.  There is a model for high level monitoring (RSF10 series Float Switch) and one for low level monitoring ( series Float Switch).
